this message is meant to send sunshine on a pretty dreary day…i hope it works!
i have to admit we have been nibbling on salads for some time now. but the day has arrived, finally, when we can see many weeks of good eating ahead, we are ready to announce the first delivery of the season!the first basket of the 2014 CSA season will be saturday may 10th. we will be in our same spot as last year, for those of you new to hill and hollow, that is farm shed 2, next to jd’s country milk. you can come to pick up your basket between 8 am and noon. to say we are excited to see you all after a long winter would be an understatement, clearly! wow. so with nothing but excitement for the season ahead, i say, bring on the greens…

p.s. please respond to this email ensuring me that you know your first basket will be there for you on may 10th, i do not want anyone to miss the first week….
Robin, this did bring sunshine to my day! Up here in the frozen north, my CSA won’t be starting til June, but it warms my heart to think of yours getting underway. Much love.
it warms my heart to hear from you…
Dear Robin,
This is Kerry writing. It’s so exciting to read about the first distribution. My mother’s husband has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. At the same time my mother’s health is bad – loss of taste and smell thus precipitous weight loss and internal and external hemorrhoids. Because of this I don’t know if I can come in July – so much is unknown. I still hold out hope but I wanted to give you a heads up so you can plan accordingly. I will keep in touch.
Love and Light Kerry Willett
thank you for the update, i am so sorry to hear of this but hold you and your family dear…please keep me posted! robin
